Field projects are implemented in six countries of the Asia-Pacific region. We aim to integrate local cultures and traditions to create a sustainable social model. This would be possible by developing environmental education programs, creating awareness raising materials, and conducting capacity building for local NGO youth staff and local communities.
The SATO YAMA UMI Project has a youth leadership training component. The program aims at training next generation leaders to acquire hands-on knowledge and experience in complex conservation projects. They will become “change agents” in business, government or social movement for a sustainable world.(The details will be available later)
